This is a DRY site with NO OPEN FLAME allowed.

Rivenstar will be happy to host you and your dogs in all our outdoor spaces, however dogs may not be inside the building. You are responsible for your dogs behavior and all excrement produced by your dog.

    Class List

    • 10am Kumihimo for Beginners
    • Instructor: Breanna the Small
    • Kumihimo is a classic Japanese braiding technique which allows you to create useful and decorative cords and tapes from string or thread. We will be working on a basic 8 strand braid, perfect for learning the basics! Please feel free to bring embroidery floss in your preferred colors to work with. Class limited to 20 people, ages 4 and up. There will be a fee of $2 for a small supplies kit to take with you.
    • 11am Picking Your Persona or "Cosmopolitan�s" Guide to Finding the Medieval YOU
    • Intsructor: Lady Fine ingen Chinaeda (Fiona)
    • Choosing your persona can be an intimidating process. How do you pick the person you want to become? After years of careful thought I've decided it comes down to two things, and I developed a series of simple questions can help you figure them out! Come take the "Cosmopolitan's" quiz to help guide you in picking a persona. Class is focused on newcomers, but anyone is welcome.
    • 2pm Dance Class - Prepare for the Feast!
    • Instructors: Nikolai Vasilei Stefanov and Arbella Howard
    • There will be dancing between some of the courses at feast. Want to dance? Danced before? Completely new to it? We'd love to have you! We'll be learning the two dances which will be danced during the feast�Amoroso and the Carolingian Pavane. If time permits we may also learn Heart's Ease, and the Candlestick Bransle. Come dance with us and be prepared to shine on the floor tonight!
    • 3:00 Dance Class - The Do-It-Yourself Dance Class
    • Instructors: Nikolai Vasilei Stefanov and Arbella Howard
    • This open format dance exchange is intended for dancers at all levels. If you want to dance, want to learn, want to teach other people your favorite dance, we'd love to have you! We'll be dancing some classics and some things you may not have seen before. Come and be prepared for any kind of social situation!

    Directions

    The site is "National Gaurd Armory" at 5218 Haggerty Ln Lafayette, IN 47905. Take your best route to I-65 exit #168 just east of Lafayette, IN. Head west on IN-38 (towards Lafayette) past the SIA factory. Turn right onto Vetrans' Memorial Parkway. At the next four way stop turn right again and about a mile up the road on your left is the Armory.
