Costs

  • Site Fee: None!
  • Camping: $5 per person per night. $20 family max for the entire weekend.
    • Hot showers included.
  • Payment: Make Checks payable to SCA, Inc.-Barony of Rivenstar
  • Meals: Breakfast - $3/person, Lunch $5/person, Dinner $7/person.
    • All you can eat, and all prepared by a food service pro!

Important Notices

  • Helmets are required for all riders (site rules). A selection of loaner helmets will be available on site.
  • Anyone entering the site - riders and non-riders alike - must sign the Kirkridge Valley Farms waiver (site rules). See the waiver or sign a hard copy on site.
  • Anyone who plans to attempt an equestrian authorization must be an SCA member and must read the Middle Kingdom Equestrian Handbook. (Middle Kingdom rules).
  • Camping and meal fees can be submitted in advance via ACCEPS, though pre-registration is not required.
  • The Troll Booth won't be opening until Friday morning (7/5). Anyone arriving Thursday evening can troll in on Friday.
  • Thrown weapons activities will be available. (Schedule TBD)

Horses

  • If you are bringing horses, you must have copies of their health papers and Coggins test.
  • Limited loaner horses will be available as arranged.

Directions

The site is "Huis Doorn" at 8650 Kirkridge Lane Lafayette IN 47905. Take your best route to I-65 exit #168 just east of Lafayette, IN. Head east on IN-38 (away from Lafayette) through the little town of Dayton. One mile out of town, turn right onto CR-900E. Cross the railroad tracks one block south of CR-900E then make an immediate right onto Kirkridge Lane. Huis Doorn is the brick house behind the white fence at the far end of Kirkridge Lane, about 1/2 mile west of CR-900E.
